Service Description
Coastal Academy families, welcome to Cannettic Energy's After School Robotics program! Your Robotics Instructor -Lynn is a Computer Science major at California State University San Marcos with minors in Data Science and Art & Visual Culture Studio. She brings both technical expertise and creative energy to the classroom, making robotics an inspiring experience for all students. Lynn has several years of inspiring and motivating students to explore their passions—whether in engineering, robotics, or the arts. Her goal is to guide students to not only learn the mechanics of robotics but also to practice real-world problem solving and creativity in the process. What your child will learn this session: How to use the Elegoo Uno microprocessor (a beginner-friendly cousin of the Arduino Uno) The basics of electrical circuitry and breadboards (parallel vs. serial circuits, polarity, etc.) Coding in C++ and seeing how software interacts with hardware How to light up LEDs with timing, buttons, sensors, and photoresistors Understanding and working with motors and servos Debugging and troubleshooting code and circuits Exploring advanced kit components like the LCD screen Building and presenting their own capstone project — including research, proposal writing, programming, and a live demo for classmates. These early experiences with robotics will prepare students for problem solving, critical thinking, and technical skills that will serve them for years to come. Robotics 4th-8th at Coastal Academy, room number 203 (upstairs) Wed 2:45-3:45 11 classes, Last class 3/25/26. Please note: No class on 12/17, 12/24, 12/31, 1/28, 3/11. Policies & Procedures Pick-Up: Please arrive on time so our teachers can stay on schedule. Late Pick-Up: $1 per minute after the 5-minute grace period. Emergencies happen — just call me (Cannetta) directly at (760) 889-0151. Refunds: Refund window closes Dec 4th. Transfers to another class are available if needed. Class Minimums: Each class requires 5 students to run. If a class doesn’t meet minimums, we’ll refund or transfer your child into a different option. Thank you!

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Pick-Up Policy We understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to help. To cancel or make changes to a session, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance. We’re happy to transfer your student into another program if space is available. Once a session has begun and the first class has taken place, we are unable to provide refunds. Supplies, staffing, and materials are carefully planned and purchased based on registered students. If a class does not meet the minimum of five students, it may be cancelled. In that case, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer into another available class that meets the minimum requirement. Please also review our on-campus pick-up policy: families are expected to arrive on time for dismissal. Our instructors often teach back-to-back classes and have other work commitments, so thank you for respecting their time. Schools close shortly after classes end, leaving only a brief window for pick-up. If a staff member must remain on site with a child after class, a $1 per minute late pick-up fee will apply to cover extended staffing.
