Churros & Chat: A Sweet Start to Spanish! ¡Hola, amigos! Ready to sprinkle some fun into language learning? Join Cannettic Energy’s Churros & Chat—an exciting Intro to Spanish class that combines conversation, culture, and tasty treats! In this interactive after-school program, students will: ✔ Learn basic Spanish words and phrases through games and activities ✔ Practice conversation skills in a fun, relaxed setting ✔ Explore Spanish culture—with delicious churros to make learning extra sweet! This isn’t your average language class—it’s a fiesta of fun, flavor, and friendship! Designed for beginners, Churros & Chat helps kids gain confidence in speaking Spanish while enjoying an experience they’ll look forward to every week. Join us for a unique learning experience while having fun in this packed 11-week session filled with thrilling weekly activities led by our fun teacher, who is excited to introduce you to a new language. Our Teachers is passionate about teaching and loves sharing her talents to inspire young minds. Through exciting drills and games, students will develop a love of the Spanish language in this Intro to Spanish club. Students will build confidence while they learn a new language with their friends, pushing through challenges. Churros and Talk is a fun and dynamic Spanish afterschool program where children learn the language through games, songs, storytelling, and artistic activities. The program is taught by a native Spanish speaker from Perú, bringing authentic language and culture into every class. While the name Churros and Talk is playful, we do enjoy special treats like churros on certain days to celebrate culture—but not at every class. Each session follows a simple structure: Warm-up conversation in Spanish to practice greetings and everyday phrases. Interactive activity (games, music, art, or storytelling). Creative project or group activity where children apply new words naturally. Wrap-up with a short review and sharing moment. The goal is to create a natural immersion in Spanish, helping kids build confidence while having fun in a creative environment.
